Stone Creek Construction Group is seeking a skilled Commercial Carpenter for multiple projects in New Jersey.
Carpenter Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to perform metal stud framing, drywall installation, acoustical ceiling layout and installation, doors/hardware/ millwork installation.
- Well rounded general construction knowledge for punch list completion required
- Perform material takeoffs as needed for self-performed work.
- Supervise trades as needed under the direction of the Superintendent.
- Supervise/train labor and carpenters as needed.
- Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines.
- Manage company tools and equipment on projects
Carpenter Requirements and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional carpentry experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and general construction.
- Must have a Valid Driver License & reliable transportation.
- Must have general tools to perform carpentry.
- Must be able to work off-hours, nights and weekend if required.
- Must be a strong communicator and have prioritization skills.
- Computer skills and knowledge of Procore a plus.
